At Rice Environmental Studies, students are encouraged to apply their knowledge to the real world and make an impact in their communities.
Students have access to numerous campus resources to enrich their understanding of course materials and get engaged in ongoing environmental issues. Opportunities include: Participating in one or more of the sustainability student organizations; Learning about Rice’s campus greening and taking part in the discussion with Sustainability at Rice; and participating in research and internships led by faculty and through environmental studies courses and programs.
If you have any questions about accessing the resources available, please contact Dominic Boyer (dominic.c.boyer@rice.edu), the Minor Advisor, or Richard Johnson (rrj@rice.edu), the Director of Rice Sustainability Office for more information.
